Micro Donations Platform

Our proprietary Micro Donations Platform “MDP” allows for long-term sustainable fund-raising with multiple beneficiaries and exponential social multipliers. The Qismat MDP is a locally attuned solution which empowers citizens to participate in the sustained development of Pakistan whilst providing a value proposition for all stakeholders.

In order to maximise beneficiary impact over the long-term, Qismat’s MDP has four critical core elements which revolve around an interactive Engagement Algorithm comprising of a formulaic Return on Donation strategy, a dynamic Fund Allocation system, and a sophisticated Social Enterprise hybrid network.

“The recent floods in Pakistan is the worst natural disaster of recent history. In humanitarian terms, the floods of Pakistan have affected more people than the Haiti Earthquake, the 2004 Tsunami and hurricane Katrina combined.” - Ban Ki Moon, Secretary General of the UN

During the 2010 monsoon season in Pakistan, heavy rainfall, flash floods and riverine floods combined to create a moving body of water equal in dimension to the land mass of the United Kingdom. According to Pakistani government data, the floods that started in August 2010 directly affected about 20 million people, mostly by destruction of property, livelihood and infrastructure, with a death toll of close to 2,000. The number of individuals affected by the flooding exceeds the combined total of individuals affected by the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, the 2005 Kashmir earthquake and the 2010 Haiti earthquake.

The report suggests that Pakistan is expected to surpass Indonesia as a single largest Muslim population nation in the world by 2030. However, the report also claims that the Muslim population is expected to grow at a slower pace in the next two decades than it did in the previous two decades. Some of the major and minor factors responsible for these demographic shifts in Global Muslim population are shown in this report.

Even if you deliberately set out to try to dream up the least probable superhero ever, it's unlikely that you'd manage to come up with a character as far-fetched as Batina the Hidden. Batina is a superhero of a kind the world hasn't until now seen. It's not just that she's a Muslim woman, from Yemen – but that she wears an altogether new kind of super-person costume: a burqa.

Joining Batina the Hidden in her quests are also Widad the Loving, Bari the Healer, and Mumita the Destroyer to name a few. These superheroes—and 96 others based on Islamic culture and religion—work together to fight evil and stereotypes in the thrilling new comic book series The 99 and along with her fellow crime-fighters, are the world's first Islam-inspired superheroes.
